The Good2Graft project will put lived experience at the centre of recruitment, focusing on the unemployed residents of South Tyneside.
The project will aim to increase confidence and self-esteem; raise aspirations and dismiss the myth that there are only two choices. To live on benefits or to take the huge risk and jump into employment.
The key elements are to recruit those with lived experience to work on the project and support others to follow in their steps.
