This training is designed to offer support and guidance for anyone working with pupils who have limited verbal communication. We will look at alternative ways to communicate along with useful strategies to support our learners to maximise their potential. The training will cover the following key areas:

• The Fundamentals of Communication
• Understanding and developing communication
• Understand the differences between pre-verbal and non-verbal communication
• What can I do to support?
• Effective approaches to support pupils in your classroom

Target Group:  Support Staff, Teachers and SENCos.
