South Tyneside Council (Hylton Lane, West Boldon - Amendment to  40mph speed limit) Order 2024

South Tyneside Council proposes to make an Order under Section 84 of and Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order will be to reduce the extent of 40mph speed restriction on:-

  • Hylton Lane, West Boldon.
    • 40mph speed limit is proposed from a point 43 metres south of its junction with Dipe Lane in a southerly direction for 872 metres.

Full details of these proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at the Town Hall at the address below.
