Powering the Future Creative Workshops
We are running a series of workshops in local libraries this summer to get our creative cogs spinning.
Hot on the heels of our Powering the Future challenge in primary schools across South Tyneside, we are running a series of workshops in local libraries this summer to get our creative cogs spinning.
Funded by the new Dogger Bank Wind Farm being constructed off the north-east coast, these workshops will explore renewable energy, how it works and why it is a crucial part of the solution to climate change. We will challenge kids in the workshops to use their imagination to create new ways to generate renewable energy and learn prototyping techniques to bring inventions to life.
The workshops are available to children of primary school age, accompanied by an adult. Session slots for all dates: 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm.
