24EFAW02 - Emergency First Aid at Work - (1 day course) - COURSE FULL

This course is delivered over one day (minimum 6 hours) and covers one unit which includes practical assessments from the taught content. It is Ofqual regulated and overseen by First Aid Awards (FAA) and Nuco Training.
The assessment criteria is set out by the UK Resuscitation Council. If any person has difficulty in doing these, then reasonable adjustments can be made during the training element, but some of the skills must be seen preformed in a kneeling or sitting position on the floor during assessment. Unfortunately, no adjustments can be made for practical assessment.
Due to the nature of the course please wear appropriate clothing.
The qualification is available to learners aged 14 and over.
Please bring with you your workplace ID.
Once successfully completed learners (age 16 and over) are able to assume the responsibility of being a first aider in the workplace. This qualification is valid for three years. To requalify, learners will need to complete the 6-hour course again.
