SSAFA (The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association)

SSAFA provides lifelong support to those who are serving or have served in the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines or the Royal Air Force, and to their families.

SSAFA helps the armed forces community in a number of ways, though their focus is on providing direct support to individuals in need of physical or emotional care.

Issues that can affect members of our Armed Forces community include:

  • Relationship breakdowns
  • Debt
  • Homelessness
  • Post-traumatic stress
  • Depression
  • Disability
