Legal notice

South Tyneside Council (The Cornfields, Hebburn) Order 2024 - Amended

South Tyneside Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:-

  • No waiting at any time on The Cornfields, Hebburn
    • east side from its junction with Hedgeley Road in a northerly then north easterly direction for a revised distance of 40 metres
    • for its entire length on the access road between numbers 3 and 45 The Cornfields
    • west side from its junction with Hedgeley Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 40 metres.

Full details of these proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at the Town Hall at the address below.

If you wish to raise an objection, express support or make any other observations about these proposals, you must make them in writing to the Council's Legal Services Department at the address below or by using the same email address above by the 17 April 2024.  Any objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
