An Audience with Karin Smirnoff
Karin Smirnoff published her first novel aged 53 after completing a creative writing class, and two years ago she was asked by the Stieg Larsson estate to continue the story of Lisbeth Salander - a challenge she could not resist.
Join Karin and her British publisher, Katharina Bielenberg, for afternoon tea where they will be talking about Karin's writing career, her Dragon Tattoo novel, The Girl in the Eagle's Talons, and what it feels like to write one of the most iconic female characters in crime fiction.

ABOUT KARIN SMIRNOFF
KARIN SMIRNOFF worked as a journalist before quitting her job to buy a wood factory in her home county in northern Sweden. Her debut novel, My Brother, was nominated for the prestigious August Prize and has been optioned for TV by the producers behind The Bridge. Two more novels followed, and the entire trilogy has now sold more than 700,000 copies in Sweden.
