TDR offer a number of apprenticeships in manufacturing and engineering at different levels.
They also offer non-engineering apprenticeships.
Students on the Engineering Apprenticeship Access Programme will study a level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering.
Students on the Engineering Apprenticeship Access Programme also have the opportunity to progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship in the following areas:
- Mechanical engineering
- Design engineering
- Project engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Electronics engineering
- CNC machining
- PLC instrumentation and control engineering
- Fabrication and welding
- Maintenance engineer
The Access Programme is delivered over one year and you will be studying 37 hours per week at the training centre in North Tyneside.
Non-engineering apprenticeships are also available. These include:
- Customer Services
- Business Administration
- Laboratory Technician
- Science Manufacturing

If you meet the criteria, you'll be invited to a video interviews over Zoom.
If you pass both the zoom interview stage and prove achieved / predicted grades, you will be added to TDR's Apprenticeship Candidate Register (ACR) where you will have the opportunity to be promoted to organisations looking to recruit apprentices.
